About Us

Situated on the Cudgegong River amongst Mudgee’s rolling hills, Martins Hill Organic Wines produces a range of preservative-free clean-crafted, small-batch vegan wines and ports.  Michael Sweeney established the vineyard in 1985, first planting Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Shiraz  and Cabernet Sauvignon.  Michael and his wife Louise have added to the plantings in the last decade with additional Pinot Noir, Riesling and Shiraz.

Get in touch and come and visit us. We are located on the Cudgegong River with a unique micro-climate. Come and see for yourself and enjoy a walk through our vines learn a little about the input from the sheep, birds and lady beetles. Learn about the growing and ripening seasons, and in winter try your hand at pruning. Find out how the texture of the earth and the volume of rain changes the flavour of the wine. Taste our organically grown vegan wines and ports.



The Mudgee Region has a great range of Markets for the locals and visitors, some are produce markets and others offer art and homemade items. Our organically grown vegan wines have been a part of this region for over 35 years… No sulphite is used in our wines and ports.
